Agape Child Sponsorship Programme
We now have over 30 children we are sponsoring to go to school with plans to support more through their education. These pictures are some of the children in our programme.

Rachel Cooper is our Child Care Coordinator. She asked many of them what they wanted to do after school and most responded by saying ‘doctor,’ ‘lawyer,’ and ‘teacher’.

Literacy Project

More than 70% of women in Northern Uganda cannot read and write.

On a visit in 2001, women from Layibi, a village just outside Gulu, held a meeting and asked TEAMS if they could help them learn to read and write.

Over a year ago the literacy project began, with 20 women and a couple of men. The oldest student is 76 years old and on the first day learnt to write her name for the very first time. There are now 40 people and plans for expansion. The demand for literacy is great.
Prison Work
TEAMS regularly visits the local prisons and have formed relationships with the prison officers, who regularly involve us in their Christian fellowship and in practical help.

Church Building – ‘The Sanctuary’ – Layibi

We were donated 5 acres of land in 2001 by a local family with the request of building a church facility. The church building is now complete and is used by a local church for their meetings. It is also used as an administrative base for TEAMS.

We hold Christian conferences with local church leaders and children’s fun days at the Sanctuary.

We are planning a goat farming project to aid the income of people in the area. We also have plans for a health clinic.
